I participated at the 2006 Edition of EGENI in France and in its’ first African edition that happened few days after during the ICANN Meeting in Marrakech.

EGENI (European General States of Naming the Internet): an annual reference meeting of the actors of the Internet and its governance.

Its purpose is to take a look at a number of issues related to the functioning, usage and governance of the Internet today and tomorrow.

EGENI is organiszed by the French Chapter of the Internet Society (ISOC France) with the support of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIP) and the Medef (French
Business Confederation)  at the “Maison des Arts et Métiers”, Paris on the theme:
Internet is for everyone.

Egeni Europe: Thursday 22nd of June in Paris

Egeni Africa: Saturday 24th of June 2006 in Marrakesh – Morocco

Both conferences will focus on operation, usages, regulation and governance
of the Internet of today and tomorrow – from each side of the Mediterranean
sea.
