For a North African who spent his entire life in Tunisia, and grown in the south of the country ( Sfax, Sidi Bouzid ) with a level of heats that may attain easily 45°c during summertime and 10°c during wintertime, spending the month of February was a challenge.
Weather record was between -5°c and -10°c and the level of snow was around one meter high. I certainly enjoyed the snow like a child who sees it for his first time in his life, but this was for me also a life-changing month. I have never felt the cold like before that month. I returned to Tunisia a few months with a completely new capacity to enjoy the cold weather.
